Please note a few important updates to help ensure a safe and enjoyable summer:
Life Jackets: All non-swimmers and small children must wear a Coast Guard-approved life jacket when in the main pool without a parent. (note: Puddle jumpers are acceptable when actively swimming with a parent). We have a few extras available, but please plan to bring your own for future visits.
Check-In Required: All members must check in upon arrival—no exceptions.
Supervision: Children under age 12 must be accompanied by a parent when at the club—this rule will be enforced during lessons.
Float Policy: The use of unapproved personal pool floats is not allowed. Club-provided floats will be available for use.
Swim Lesson Request Form: HERE (https://forms.gle/fEjkkJoJQXYdKgSy8)
Weather Closure: The pool will not open if temperature is projected under 65 or it is storming.
Swim Aptitude – Pool Safety and Swim Capability
To ensure safety, the Lifeguards or Aquatic Director may require children who wish to jump or dive off the diving board to pass a swim assessment.
The assessment includes:
- Jumping off the diving board with no goggles
- Reemerge and then tread/wade in the water for one minute
- Swim to the wall and exit the pool without assistance
Important: Swim vests and puddle jumpers are not permitted when using the diving board, as they pose a severe risk of injury.
Thanks for helping us keep the pool safe and fun for everyone!
